1). Director of Business Development

Forge Nano Inc., is seeking a qualified individual in a leadership role as Director of Business Development. Reporting to the Vice President Business Development and Sales, the Director of Business Development will define and lead the sales development function for the company, driving decisions at the customer level, helping to define the technical value to the customer for the company products and secure long-term sustainable growth for the company. As the Director of Business Development, you will be a key contributor helping organizations integrate surface modification techniques to improve their products. This important role is primarily responsible for refining and executing the company business strategy.

Required Skills:

  • Ph.D. in Chemistry, Materials Science, or similar Engineering; M.S. will be considered with experience.
  • 3+ year’s successful track record leading solution or technical teams with sales quotas/targets.
  • Documented track record of leadership, team development, and business success.
  • Understanding of Atomic Layer Deposition or nano coating techniques.
  • Communicate highly technical concepts from/with a business perspective
  • A hands on understanding of physical phenomena but preference for business development
  • Proficient with MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good verbal communicator and customer facing. Ability to research and present solutions.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Multilingual in Mandarin, German and/or Japanese a plus.

2). Account Development Manager

Forge Nano Inc., is seeking an exceptional individual for an exciting new role as Account Development Manager. Reporting to the Vice President Business Development and Sales, the Account Development Manager will be responsible for the marketing and sales efforts to identify new customers, new business opportunities and maintaining long-term relationships with our customers. The Account Development Manager will work with the sales and technical teams to identify, develop and refine new and current customer campaigns in the successful execution of the company sales plan. This important role is primarily responsible for actively ensuring the sales pipeline is full and for tracking the sales process through all stages using the company CRM software.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelors of Science in Chemistry, Engineering or similar.
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in account management, sales and technical support.
  • Experience with WordPress for website development, maintenance and management.
  • Marketing experience especially in product development, creating customer presentations, posters, product flyers, spec sheets and white papers.
  • Proficient with MS Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good verbal communicator and customer facing. Ability to research and present solutions.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English. Multilingual in Mandarin, German and/or Japanese a plus.
